Turnaround times
IGENZ participates in GenQA Quality Assurance scheme (among others) and therefore where appropriate abides by the reporting time guidelines established by the Association for Clinical Genomics (ACG), UK.

1Note: A diagnostic FISH result is adequate in this category, with confirmatory cytogenetics treated as for routine referrals.
2MicroARRAY analysis to undertake genome wide copy number and loss or gain of chromosomes is not well defined using ACG best practice guidelines therefore the HGSA guidelines have been used.
3Molecular oncology analysis guidelines using MassARRAY techniques are not well established therefore IGENZ abides by their own turnaround time objectives defined by management.
4 Due to the requirement to batch test, the turnaround times often exceed 15 or 28 calendar days. However, the referring clinician is aware of this and if required urgently, the test would be run straight away with an incomplete batch.
