Amanda joined IGENZ in 2010 and has over 30 years experience in clinical laboratories both in New Zealand and overseas. In 2019 she was awarded a Service Excellence Award by the Human Genetics society of Australasia (HGSA) for outstanding service to the HGSA as well as for the significant contribution that she has made in the field of human genetics.

Bronwyn currently leads the Molecular Testing team where she utilises her extensive molecular genetic knowledge. She has 10+ years in the diagnostic genetics environment both in New Zealand and overseas.
Masoumeh (Massy) Abolfathi

Massy is a recent recruit to IGENZ, having joined the team in 2023 as Team Leader for the Cytogenomics section. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the areas of genetic reproduction and cancer, having worked in both the public and private sectors in New Zealand and overseas.

Larry is our Quality Specialist and Deputy Team Leader of the Molecular Testing team. Originating from China, Larry has undertaken studies and worked both in New Zealand and abroad. He has a vast array of knowledge over a number of disciplines and his enthusiasm for quality ensures that we are always striving to offer an efficient and accurate service.
